Richfield Plumbing Company is a family-owned, 2nd generation plumbing business. Started in 1949 by Robert F. Adelmann in Richfield. Over the years we have expanded to cover the entire Minneapolis metro area and surrounding southern suburbs.
David Adelmann, president of Richfield Plumbing Co., is a Minnesota, Minneapolis, and St. Paul licensed master plumber and our technicians are licensed journeyman plumbers. Our technicians have many years of experience and can repair and install most anything in your residential or commercial plumbing system. Our entire staff is dedicated to serving our clients.
We guarantee your job will be performed by a licensed, well trained and experienced technician. We will try our best to schedule the work to when it best fits your needs. Our technicians are courteous, clean and uniformed, and will leave the workspace neat and clean when they are done. The organization’s goal is to train and deploy a green army of thousands of plumbers to promote the benefits of water conservation and the reduction of ghg emissions. The focus is on changing consumer and plumbing behavior through the use of energy efficiency and water saving technologies.

Green Plumbing Certified
Richfield Plumbing Company is the first licensed green plumber in the upper Midwest. Our affiliation with GreenPlumbers® means that we are part of a program that is revitalizing the plumbing industry’s culture and image. Although we are proud to offer traditional services, we are pleased to be among the first to offer what will be the new standards of plumbing service in the near future.
The GreenPlumbers® goal is to train and deploy an army of "green" plumbers across the United States to promote the benefits of water conservation and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
GreenPlumbers® works with local and state jurisdictions, utilities, and water agencies to present training workshops across the nation. The training consists of a five-part accreditation in environmental and technical issues including:
